There are 3 ways to connect your domain name to your new Automate WP server.

Choose one of these options:

Option 1 - Register Your Domain with Automate WP

Register your domain name Automate WP and the connection will be automatic.

Option 2 - Transfer Your Domain to Automate WP

Transfer your domain name to us and then update your nameservers.

Your nameservers can be found in your "New Account Information" email you received when you registered for your account.

To transfer your domain to us you need to do a couple things first:

  1. Disable registrar lock at your current domain registrar.
  2. Disable privacy protection at your current domain registrar.
  3. Obtain your EPP code from your current domain registrar.

Most web hosting companies should have these features available inside their interface. If they don't, just reach out to their support and they will help you.

Once you enter the EPP code in your Automate WP client area to start the transfer process, well automatically send a transfer request to the registrant contact email on file. This is why it's important to disable the privacy protection. The transfer process can not initiate until the verification email has been clicked.

Once the verification email has been clicked it can take 2-7 days for the domain to be released and transferred over the Automate WP.

Option 3 - Update Your Nameservers

You can keep your domain name with your current domain registrar and update your nameservers.

IMPORTANT: Once your nameservers are updated your current website and emails will no longer work. You will have to get everything setup in the Automate WP cPanel.

If you have any questions about the migration please open a support ticket and we'll gladly assist you.
