If your website does have a secure lock you may have to add a plugin to your WordPress website to make sure all your files are being called from a secure URL.

If you're not a developer this can be a tricky fix, so we recommend activating a plugin to fix the issue.

Enter the Really Simple SSL Plugin

This plugin automatically detects your settings and will configure your website automatically to run over https.

To keep it lightweight, the options are very minimal. The entire site will move to SSL.

IMPORTANT: Always run a backup of your database before you add this plugin just incase something goes wrong.

Here's how to activate the plugin on your website:

Step 1: Activate the Plugin

In your WordPress dashboard go to plugins > add new

Search for 'Really Simple SSL' and install it, then activate it.

Step 2: Activate SSL

Once it's activated click the blue button that says 'Go ahead, activate SSL!'

And that's it! Your site should now be fully secured.
